Lodge East
Rigorous academics, meaningful friendships, and learning through adventure.
Journey of a River Otter
In Lodge East, students in grades 3 and 4 engage in a dynamic, project-based learning environment where curiosity and creativity thrive. Rooted in a culture of kindness, care, and respect, students develop social-emotional skills, learning to navigate relationships, manage emotions, and collaborate effectively. They also receive rigorous and engaging instruction in English language arts and math, building strong academic foundations while enjoying the learning process.
Our 17-acre campus serves as an extension of the classroom, offering opportunities to explore the woods, build forts, and connect their studies with the natural world. Field trips are thoughtfully chosen to complement classroom projects, providing meaningful, real-world experiences. Each spring, the Lodge East community heads to Camp Seymour, where students strengthen friendships, take on new challenges, and create memories that last a lifetime.
